Sheridan Police Department

I am sure by now, many people have heard of the so-called scandal involving the Sheridan Police Department and it's allegations of ghost employment by the Police Chief and Deputy Chief.  Alleged "sources" are crying foul because the top cops in the town have taken over the School Resource Officer (SRO) positions.  I heard Former Reserve Officer Brock Walker was removed from the SRO position after allegations surfaced that he was inappropriately texting/talking to/contacting female students at the high school, suggesting inappropriate subject matter and behavior.  The allegations about Former Officer Walker's conduct warranted parents notifying the Chief of Police and Town Officials when the girls came forward with their stories (which were already circulating).  After all, folks, this is Sheridan we are talking about, where rumors fly so fast a sonic boom in town is as common as a pickup truck.
After the dust settles, the Chief and Deputy Chief adopt the attitude "if you want things done right, do them yourself" and assume the school resource officer responsibilities.  Now, a whistle blower decides to make an issue out of the fact and has the whole town, the state board of accounts, and the school corporation buzzing and scrambling to find out if there was any wrongdoing.  Allegations of Ghost Employment are flying everywhere (which has me totally confused). Anyway.......For the complete "ALLEGED" story according to Blogger Diana Vice, click here.

We will be back to discuss this later!!!  Feel free to comment on any knowledge you may have on the subject, feelings, use whatever language you want, and say what you feel.  Only ridiculous posts will be deleted........

Sheridan Police Website

UPDATE:  Friday, September 24th

It seems we have lost focus, according to the comments section.  But, this is our page so we can say whatever we want (freedom of speech, right?).  I hear Brock "Big Unit" Walker has been alleged to have engaged in misconduct which led to his termination as an SRO, Sheridan Police Officer and high school sweetheart.  However, I would like to hear more about the ghost employment issues that are currently being alleged against SPD officers.  Don't get me wrong, post whatever you want, but if anyone has any information or opinions on the topic currently at hand, please let us know!      - Dave

  1. Man I can't get even past that video! Are you kidding me with that guy?

  2. How would you know what Brock was fired for unless someone violated confidentiality laws related to personnel files? I hope you're certain of your facts concerning the allegations against Walker otherwise you could be sued for libel. Walker is not a public figure, so the laws are different when it comes to private citizens. You'd better be able to back up everything you wrote about him with absolute proof.

    ReplyDelete
  3. He was a public servant when all of the above events occurred, so that isn't a problem. Thanks for your input, genius!

    ReplyDelete
  4. According to Brock Walker's myspace page, Brock's occupation is listed as "Police Officer, Sheridan Police Dept." with an income of "$45,000 to $60,000"

So, looks like he is impersonating a public official as well! Sounds like a real genius!

  5. I don't know who runs this page, but if you are not aware of this, Brock Walker is not the only name he goes by! Brock's other monikers include "Smooth", "B Dubs" and "Big Unit". If I were you, I would delete this page and move far far away! Never know what is going to happen when "Big Unit" catches up with you (or your young daughter).

  6. Walker had a long history at Sheridan, he was fired 3 times and one time it was because he was caught being "romantic" with another female K9 officer (who was married). The chief fired them on the spot and "didnt follow proper procedures" so they threatened to sue the town and as a result they were hired back on.

I think Brock is just trying to start crap on the other blog.

Chief W and the sheridan officers are about as straight as you can get. Those guys play by the book.

  7. Hahaha, I love the Coy video. He is a good man and a great Christian. If he knew this video was on here he would die! Thats not fair to have fun with him.

The Diana Vice blog is horseshit. Time will prove it. Let the facts come forward.

Keep up the good work Sheridan PD and dont get sidetracked with this BS. I would like to see more videos of Coy, tell him I said hello!

    Peace and Love

You and he should go back to grammar school together!

  11. I just heard that Brock is going to sue the author of this blog. I can't wait til it hits the papers. All the crap about what's been going on in Sheridan will start to come out when the depositions are taken.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Ha! Well since Brock makes $65k from his Sheridan PD job I am sure he can get a decent attorney! Oh wait, he makes 40-65k, some days he is on the 65k salary, other days he is on the 40k salary. Still, he will get a good attorney. BEWARE!!!

  13. Brock Walker posed as an SHS student on Diana Vice's blog. Check it out: two of the first few comments on there.

It's strange that he got "treated unfairly" at Sheridan AND the Clinton County jail...

  15. Brock Walker has no grounds on which to sue you. You stated all claims as "alleged" in your blog. And shouldn't he be careful if he really did get fired for texting underaged girls? I mean, couldn't he make one wrong move and have to register as a sex offender?

    ReplyDelete
  16. With the documents I possess and the witnesses I have spoken with, I encourage Brock Walker to sue me. I really hope he does. As an attorney turned financial analyst, I welcome any chance to visit the old courtroom. I miss those days of mopping the mahogany floors with those who sit across the table. See you in court "Big Unit"!

Back to the "Real World", does anyone have anymore information about the allegations of ghost employment by the Chief and/or Deputy Chief. Or is this story sour grapes like I suspected it was?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I really hope he does, too. He needs to be held accountable for his lying for once. And I wish the rest of us could see those documents. If you have any suggestions as to how I may view them, please email me at fellowtruthseeker@hotmail.com.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Would you mind posting an email address where we can reach you to share our information?

  19. Here is my opinion:

If I had been fired without just cause so that someone could wrongfully take over my position and fraudulently milk money from the government for which I swore I would work, you would hear that from me. I would not let others do my fighting for me if I truely believed Chief Weir and Deputy Curl were actually doing something wrong. So the fact that Brock Walker is not speaking out against their actions just goes to show that he is in the wrong, and they were in the right to scramble to take over his vacancy. He was fired on the 1st of March, and they supposedly took over on the 8th. That is not much time to fill the position.

  24. Does anyone have any information of the Town Marshal in Atlanta being fired on Friday? There is a rumor floating around that the town board fired him. Jai Cook is his name, I believe. Anyone, Anyone?

  25. Fist off you are not a reporter. You are a someone who likes to start things and argue with people. You do not have a spine, but you can say what ever you want because you always hide behind the internet. But one day you will slip and say the wrong thing and then you will have to pay the piper. Miss Vance informed you that this video was old news but you still feel the need to post it. Why are you on this guy so hard? It really just blows my mind....you will however just delete this and not answer the question....

    ReplyDelete
  26. no rumor but have not heard why yet

    ReplyDelete
  27. Man you do not have a clue. This officer in the video arrested me. But you know what stands out most in my mind. He took the time to talk to me about God on the way to the jail. No one ever in my life made me feel like anything but a pice of crap. But the guy that arrested me did. I hope you feel good about your self dude.

    ReplyDelete
  28. "this song and head-bop routine seen by thousands on youtube is becoming old news."

I believe that is the last sentence of the first paragraph I wrote on here. The first word you wrote was "Fist", which leads me to believe you often have that word on your mind and you like to spend your nights off wearing a ball gag and assless chaps, playing a naughty tranny in a stank ass basement in Noblesville somewhere.

Anyway, back to my response (which I will not answer according to you). I assume the "question" is "Why am I on this guy so hard." I will assume you mean Coy Monroe. I am not "on" Coy, but it sounds like you would like to be the way you defend him. Nor am I the people posting comments about him. Or comparing him to Officer Bisard, or saying he arrested my kid. I simply included a video that was sent to me by one of his brothers in blue when I was inquiring about the recent situation. I thought it was funny, I had already seen it on youtube, and quite frankly, I get a kick out of someone so shit-ass stupid to post a video like this of himself while he is being paid to patrol. Is this ghost employment?....well, I would say probably no. But like I said, one could argue playing "Star Search" on your police video camera while on duty, in uniform is at least dumb as fuck, if not cheating the folks of Sheridan. Posting for the world to see if so fucking dumb, I feel as if the whole world should see it.
And whoever the fuck you are, hiding behind your "anonymous" post, you call ME spineless and tell me I am going to "slip up and say the wrong thing and then I will have to pay the piper." That sounds like a threat to me. Well, who in the fuck is the piper? Coy? Give me a break. "Pay the Piper?" Seriously? What century is this? Cops threaten to tase people, shoot people, beat the piss out of people, jail people, but I never in my life have heard a cop say "PUT THE GUN DOWN OR YOU'LL PAY THE PIPER". So either come up with better threats or go be a cop at Connor Prarie. Either that or grow some balls (even if you weren't born with any).
I am not a reporter, I am a blogger. I blog about things I hear or things that are on my mind. If you don't like it........well, you know what to do. But, I will give you a hint, it rhymes with "Stay the fuck off of my blog!" Sounds simple enough to me. Had enough of the cop with the IQ of 51 singing falsetto for over 5 minutes, stay the fuck off of my blog. Don't like what I say and feel like responding, go for it. I can ignore it, or I can comment back. Whatever I feel like, it's my fucking blog. Go start your own blog and call it "David Michael Sullivan is a Spineless Jackass".
You made it sound like you wanted a response, so here it is. I do have a spine, you have my real name, and I have no duty to provide you any further info about myself. Like I said, it's my blog.

    ReplyDelete
  29. As far as the guy on the way to the jail, you wrote "He (Coy) took the time to talk to me about God on the way to the jail. No one ever in my life made me feel like anything but a "pice" of crap. But the guy that arrested me did."
Well, I am sorry Perry Coymo, the singing patrolman, made you feel like a "pice" of crap. And I am glad he told you about an invisible man that lives in the sky! Sounds like a great story! Go tell it on the mountain, dude! And quit committing crimes!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Coy arrested me once for being a dumbass and it turned my life around. I owe him.

Why are we talking about Coy on this page?

Atlanta is a cesspool of corruption. That is a real story worth looking at.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I agree with the criminals on this page. Coy isn't the story here. Yes, there is a video of him which I explained earlier why it was here. Now let's talk about something else, shall we?

And do tell about Atlanta and the "cesspool of corruption" please! Is this info that you got while in jail?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Okay. No more insults to Coy or Brock or Scoop or anyone else. Let's get back to focus on current news. Does anyone have relevant info on the Ghost Employment issues in Sheridan or the recent alleged termination of the Atlanta Police chief? Are the two related? Are they even newsworthy?

  39. Help me out here, Dave! After reviewing ghost employment in the Indiana Code, I am really uncertain as to how Chief Weir could be guilty of violating the code. Now, I am presuming that he is a salaried employee, and that he probably regularly logs more than 8 hours a day from all of his daily duties. Under those assumptions, the only way he could be guilty of ghost employment is if he said he was at the school when he really wasn't????

It seems as though the only reason he is being accused of this is because he and the deputy took over Walker's position while they both worked full-time for the police department. But ghost employment means getting paid for work you, or someone you hire, do not perform. So where is everyone getting all of his/her "proof?"

And I understand that it is side-tracking the discussion for people to write in about Brock Walker, but to any reasonable person, it looks as though Walker has burned a lot of people who may be reluctant to watch him get away yet again. I think it speaks volumes that Walker has not said a word about anything throughout the duration of these blogs.

In summation: I've seen no shred of evidence to indicate the presence of ghost employment. But I have read comment after comment on Brock Walker's impropriety. Smells, looks, and feels like sour grapes. As for the taste, you'll have to ask Brock Walker.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Well, I don't know what to call you because you signed in as anonymous. But, sir/maam, I couldn't agree with you more. If I were to summarize the whole situation in Sheridan, I would probably just have to copy and paste what you just wrote (with your permission, of course). You hit the nail on the head in my opinion and from what I hear, Weir and Curl spend (and have since the mid 80s) countless hours of overtime per week for the same salary with no overtime, or even COMP time. So, if you ask me, the whole situation and accusation of ghost employment is crazy. I have no other reason to believe otherwise and until I do, I stand behind the Sheridan Police Department. Now as for Coy Monroe, I don't even know the guy. If we can contain his singing to privately or maybe even at church, I think the Sheridan Police and the good people of the town will be just fine! Thanks for the summation. I apologize I let this get off course, but I told people to write whatever they want, so I guess they took me up on that. And when they did, I felt as if I had to respond to a couple of them. Anyway, until we hear any different, I will just say to the good folks in Sheridan and the Police Department, keep up the good work!

  55. As an outsider looking in, I'd just like to say that this blog and the comments that have been posted to it only serve to make the Town of Sheridan and the school district there very bad, not to mention that you're setting a very bad example for children. Grown men spewing out smut and posting childish remarks is enough to make me want to vomit! Because of this blog, I don't feel sorry for any of the public officials who will likely be charged with a Class D felony for allegedly stealing from taxpayers!!

    ReplyDelete
  56. "Grown men spewing out smut and posting childish remarks is enough to make me want to vomit!"

To be honest, stewed prunes make me want to vomit, so I don't eat them. Seems simple enough to me. Don't like it, don't read it! And smut is a word to describe sexual acts, moron! Kind of like what Brock Walker sends to the girls of Sheridan High School.

And I am not here to set an example for children. People like Brock Walker do that when they send children "smutty" text messages!

So, go take a shot of Pepto Bismol and go read some Christian blog or something, jackass!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Keep spewing your venom! It gives Brock's lawyers more to sue you for. I'm glad they have your IP address since you're not being truthful about who you are. I hope you have all those "smutty text messages" that Brock supposedly sent to high school girls; otherwise, the libel charges will likely stick to you. I hope you have deep pockets when Brock's lawyer empties them. Maybe we'll be reading about that on a blog someday.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Ha Ha Ha! I am not a high school girl, so there is no reason I have those text messages, sweetpea! I am not young enough for Big Unit Brock. You sound just about as ignorant of the law as most trailer park folk I have run into. Libel charges? Explain to me how I get charged with libel and what statute that falls under. And I don't have deep pockets, so Brock's lawyers will have to suck money out of the thousands of other people who think he is a total jagoff!
And one last thing, Captain Brightness, if you are "an outsider looking in", how would you know Dipshit's lawyers have my IP address? Outsiders wouldn't know that stuff, genius! You would call yourself an insider! Anyhow, my internet service isn't the Mulberry Telephone Service out of Lafayette like yours is. Take care now Big Unit Lover, or should I call you 208.103.38.55 ?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Don't say you weren't warned. You just might want to educate yourself about libel laws, because you've jumped into a legal quagmire. I could have easily hidden my IP address, but I'm not trying to hide anything, just a friendly warning to an obviously ignorant person.

    http://www.personal-injury-info.net/libel-definition.htm

    ReplyDelete
  60. what did the article say that was even libelous? all of the statements were alleged.

    ReplyDelete
  61. When you're slandering someone and his reputation without any proof whatsoever, the word alleged is NOT going to save you. It's obvious that you and your cohorts were just trying to deflect attention from the real story about ghost employment. But making salacious allegations against Brock Walker just because you thought he was the source of the allegations, show that your attacks were malicious, which is one of the standards used in proving libel. If Brock Walker was guilty of the things you have attributed to him, he would have been arrested. Keep writing. I'm sure it will be used as evidence in court.

    ReplyDelete
  62. David Michael SullivanOctober 8, 2010 at 5:58 AM

I will keep writing, thank you. And I have proof whatsoever, jackass! Just because Brock Walker wasn't arrested does not mean I am slandering him without proof. My attack isn't malicious if I have emails from people involved in the situation that tell me all of the "salacious" details of his termination.
Plus, I have in writing an email from Brock to a certain person that he "QUIT" the SRO job because he "just had too many bosses and went off."
But, I appreciate your concern. Now go back to your own blog. I will save the other piles of information that I have for all of the lawyers and courts. Take care now. Hugs!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Still trying to deflect the conversation away from the fact that there may be a ghost employment scheme going on in your hometown? What did you think of the time cards? Do you think a Class D felony has been committed?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Emails as proof? That's very laughable. How do you know they're telling the truth? Sheridan is getting quite the reputation via your blog, but I'm sure this will give you another opportunity to hurl an insult and call your critics names. It's what most immature people do when they're losing an argument.

    ReplyDelete
  65. David Michael SullivanOctober 8, 2010 at 6:46 AM

I am going to go now. Getting my ass kicked in an argument like that is just too much for me. I am so sorry I hurled insults at you. I don't know what came over me. Can we just be friends? You have made me want to be a better person. I know I can do it with your help! You exposed Sheridan and now I see what evil people they are! Please help me! I don't want to do this anymore! 68. It might be worth noting that Sheridan is an extremely small town. Chief Weir is on the job most of the time. And he comes to the scene when something gets out of hand whether he is "on the clock" or not. He also takes the town council to task often when they come up with dumb ideas. He cares about Sheridan in all aspects not just related to police work. Sheridan police are also the first responder to most accidents, fire and police calls surrounding Sheridan. They provide services to areas that probably do not provide any financial support (like Rural Boone County, and Rural Westfield and rural portions of Cicero).

Diana Vice has a reputation for getting things wrong. She likes to paint negative pictures of any government employee. Leaving out details is her Mode of operation Being a former Lafayette resident, where Diana Vice resides, and a current Sheridan resident. I am sure Diana is wrong on this one too.
